Print, scan and copy in true-to-life color, plus view photos on LCD and print from memory card slots. Enjoy true-to-life quality up to 4800-optimized dpi or add 6-ink color, plus laser-quality text. Easily rotate, crop and remove red-eye from your photos using innovative control panel and color image display. Print photos without a PC by connecting PictBridge-enabled cameras to the front USB port, or using memory cards and the image display, or HP Photo Proof Sheet. Create photos with or without borders - print up to 8.5x24-inch. Create true-to-life photos that resist fading for generations. Get fast print/copy speeds up to 23 ppm black, up to 18 ppm color, and HP automatic paper sensing. Make color copies and get high-quality scans at 1200 x 4800-dpi optical resolution, 48-bit color. Organize, edit, enhance and fix digital photos with HP Image Zone software, share your photos by email using HP Instant Share and print frame-by-frame sequences from digital camera video clips.
Features:
· Get laser-quality black text and rich color photos with the up to 4,800 x 1,200 optimized dpi (with 1,200 x 1,200 dpi input from a computer) and four-ink or six-ink color (six-ink requires HP 99 photo inkjet print cartridge, sold separately) for enhanced tone and detail.
· Enhance and organize photos with the included HP Image Zone software.
· Remove red eye and crop photos on the 1.8-inch color image display and editing buttons.
· Preview, select, and print photos directly from a memory card using the handy proof sheet and compatible HP PictBridge-enabled camera. Supported cards are CompactFlash, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard, and xD-Picture Card.
· Print and copy snapshots with or without borders on standard-size (up to 8.5 x 11 inches) and panorama paper (borderless available on sizes up to 8.5 x 24 inches using brochure and photo papers).
· Automatically detect the paper type, then select the optimal print and copy settings for it.
· Print from video clips: select a nine-photo sequence or use HP Image Zone to print a single frame.
· Print and copy fast—up to 23 pages per minute black, up to 18 ppm color.
· Get outstanding scans with the 1,200 x 4,800 dpi optical resolution, up to 19,200 dpi enhanced, and 48-bit color (dependingon computer memory, disk space, other factors).
· Share your favorite images with your family and friends using HP Instant Share.
· Resist photo fading for longer than traditionally processed photos last. (Results are based on HP light-fade testing under glass using the HP 97 tri-color inkjet print cartridge and optional HP 99 photo inkjet cartridges on HP Premium Plus photo paper.)
