HP LaserJet 1012 and print server
( problem id 1012-002 )
I am trying to hook my laserjet 1012 up to print server and am not having any luck. When I have the printer hooked directly to my computer it works fine. When I hook it up through the printer server (Netgear wgps606) and print a test page I get several pages with just a line or two of "gibberish" on the top of each page. Am I missing a setting on the printer? The print server works fine with my other printer and my computer. I am using windows vista. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It probably has a lot to do with the fact the LJ 1012 is a Host Based printer. You should Email BNetgear Tech Support if the printserver supports the HP Host Based printer or not.
